How You Can Help

All children deserve a safe and nurturing environment in which to grow and to thrive, free from harm, with consistent support to enhance their physical, social, emotional and spiritual well-being.

Please join our efforts to improve the safety and well-being of our community's children. Your support will help KidSafe maintain and expand the cross-systems collaboration that has proven to be effective in improving our community's response to child abuse and neglect.

There are many ways that you can help us meet the needs of the KidSafe Collaborative partnership: make a financial contribution, in-kind donation or contribute your time and talents by volunteering.

Gifts in Honor or Memorial
A contribution to KidSafe in honor or in memory of someone brings special meaning to your gift. We will send a card to those you designate to receive notice of your honor or memorial gift.
To make a gift in someone's honor, please include the name and address of that person.

To make a gift in someone's memory, please include the name and address of any individual(s), friends, family members or colleagues you would like us to notify.

Gifts of Stock and Securities
By giving appreciated stock directly to KidSafe Collaborative, you may avoid capital gains taxes and also receive a charitable deduction for the full fair market value of the stock at the time of the gift. Gifts of appreciated stock generally offer a greater tax benefit than cash. It is important to check with your attorney or financial advisor in any gift planning to make sure that you are choosing the best way to achieve your personal and charitable goals.

Corporate Matching Gifts
Your company may have a matching gift program, which can double or even triple your donation to KidSafe. Talk to the human resources department at your company to find out your company's matching gift program.

Does the mission of KidSafe Collaborative strike a chord with you? Have a bit of extra energy to hold your own event? We welcome all kinds of individual ideas.

Shop On-Line

Your on-line shopping can benefit KidSafe. We are registered with iGive.com, a website that works with on-line retailers to contribute to charities. On-line stores range from Staples and REI to E-bay and Toys-R-Us. Just use the iGive.com portal to access these sites and a percentage of your purchase will support our programs. Look for KidSafe Collaborative (Community Network for Children, Youth and Families)

Search On-Line

There is a search engine called GoodSearch.Com that donates 50 percent of it's revenue to charities, such as KidSafe. Imagine KidSafe earning a penny every time you search the internet. Or a percentage of every purchase you make at online vendors such as Amazon.com, Target, Best Buy, eBay, and Barnes and Noble. If 500 people designated KidSafe as their beneficary through GoodSearch, and used the search engine to look for other sites twice a day, we could earn $3,600 - just from searching the internet!
