Meet Our New Executive Director!

We are delighted to introduce our new Executive Director, Meghan Masterson! Meghan has served as KidSafe Collaborative’s Assistant Director since September 2021, and was the clear choice, after a thorough selection process led by our Board of Directors, to lead the agency going forward. She will take over the reins on January 1, 2024.

Sally Borden, KidSafe Collaborative’s Executive Director, will be stepping down at the end of this year after over 25 years. “Meghan's leadership will bring both continuity and exciting new developments to KidSafe Collaborative,” said Sally. “I am thrilled to be leaving this organization in such incredibly capable hands.”

“I am honored to be chosen as the next Executive Director of KidSafe Collaborative, an organization with a deep history of partnership, meaningful support for our community partners, and making a positive difference in the safety and welfare of children, youth, and families of Chittenden County. I know that together we will build on this strong foundation and continue to chart a path forward for each other and to improve the wellbeing of Vermont’s most vulnerable children.”
